The cells of the skin that do not develop into cancer causing cells are known as non-melanoma. Skin cancer symptoms are classified into two namely squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. Non melanoma types of skin cancer are less dangerous when compared to melanoma types.
Some of the symptoms of skin cancer are red lump or mole like growth on the skin, formation of rough, dry and scaly patches, and development of small spot that is pale in color with smooth surface, flat bumpy areas of the skin that turns color. Any new growth on the skin should be monitored for cancerous growth inside.
